Introduction

The skUnity developer programme is designed to give tools, help and visibility to people who create useful tools and functional content for Skript users. The programme is tailored towards people who create tools such as IDEs, syntax highlighters, parsers, addons, Skript-supporting plugins, etc. as well as other Skript-related content.

These tools are the backbone of the community; they help to advance Skript and make it easier for people to learn and use, and help it to become a viable alternative to traditional plugins. As such, skUnity wants to help and promote them.

What do I get?

As a partnered developer, you will receive special utilities to help you create and document your projects, as well as advertising and visibility to help potential users find them. Examples of these include (but are not limited to):

There are other special perks being worked on that we can’t disclose at the moment, but rest assured, you’ll find them worth having!

What do I do in return?

Our main goal is to help the Skript community by encouraging the development of new tools to improve and advance what users can do. The skUnity platform has a lot of visibility that will undoubtedly help to promote your project and help you reach a wider audience, along with all of the other tools we can provide.

In return, all we ask is that you help us promote skUnity in your resource pages. We want to make skUnity a home for the whole Skript community, and we would like your help in doing so.

What sort of projects qualify?

We are mainly looking for projects that provide tools or direct support to Skript users, however we are also open to other sorts of projects such as addons or extensions that advance the Skript community as a whole.

Example projects include (but are not limited to):

If your project isn’t in this list, it is still worth applying! We are open to considering all types of projects and would love to hear about what you’re creating.

How do I apply?

Create a post on the forums here describing your project, and the types of things you would need to help you finish and improve it. Make sure to follow the template here.

A member of the applications team will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
